OmniMon v4.1.0: AI Chat, System Tray & SRE Automations
The biggest OmniMon update yet — local AI chat with Ollama, native system tray integration, and an automated SRE engine for proactive system management.
What’s New in v4.1.0
OmniMon v4.1.0 is a major release that unifies three significant feature branches into a single, cohesive update. This release transforms OmniMon from a passive monitoring tool into an active system management platform.
Highlights
- Local AI Chat with Ollama — Talk to your system using natural language. Ask questions, get recommendations, and even let AI manage processes automatically.
- System Tray & Background Mode — OmniMon now runs as a background daemon with a native menu-bar icon. It starts hidden and monitors silently.
- SRE Automations Engine — Define rules to automatically kill runaway processes or alert when CPU/RAM thresholds are exceeded.
- Auto-Start on Login — New setting to launch OmniMon automatically when you log in.
- Native Notifications — Get desktop alerts when automation rules trigger.
